Progress NotesAugust, 2009: Our staff has grown over the years and expanded by one recently with the addition of Jill, who has joined us as a medical assistant. We now have three nurse practitioners, one nurse, two medical assistants, and three receptionists. Currently, we are applying for recognition from NCQA as a quality office in conjunction with selection as a Medical Home, part of the pilot study being conducted in New Hampshire, and across the rest of the country. We are extremely proud to have been selected! We are also now accepting donations for the KLS Food Pantry. Any non-perishables can be dropped off at our location. Lastly, we have updated our website. Our team page has been updated and now includes information about the staff here at Life Long Care. With the addition of three new requests tabs, patients are now able to request appointments, prescription refills, and referrals via email. Also, there is a new "Patient Education" section with specific links for helpful reports and information regarding various topics.
December, 2003: After being open for nearly a year, we are all truly happy to be here. The office hasn't changed, physically, but we have added "Lawri" to our staff. You will find her answering the phones and scheduling appointments on Friday. The other change of mention is that we became providers for Harvard Pilgrim Healthcare on October 1, 2003. One other exciting thing that we are doing is helping a school in Benton Harbor, Michigan, obtain enough books to begin setting up a library. My niece is teaching second grade and the school district is very poor. Most of the children don't have books at home and the school does not have a library, so we are working with the second and third graders at Kearsarge Middle School, the Newport schools and the Salisbury School. If you have books, in good condition, and would like to join our project, please call the office for more information.
Web ChangesWell the website seems to be working well. We have email all set up now, so feel free to send us something, just click the e-mail address. Testimonials on the ETPS are also on their way. Future pages may include a page about other all Nurse Practitioner practices. Keep checking for other updates, and if you have any ideas about things you would like to see on this website, write to the webmaster or use the comments page.
